Transaction Cards Module in TallyPrime – Simplify TDS Compliance

A Walkthrough video / Demo of the TDL is available at https://youtu.be/zrBEYlYDI9E

Introduction

In the existing TallyPrime interface, accountants often need to pass multiple entries for a single business transaction—such as separate vouchers for income booking, TDS receivable, and receipt, or for expense booking, TDS payable, and payment. This repetitive process makes TDS compliance cumbersome and time-consuming. The Transaction Cards Module integrates these workflows seamlessly, enabling users to record multiple related vouchers from one unified data entry screen.

Further, since TDS in default TallyPrime is complex, this module introduces a semi-automated process.

📑 Accounting Workflows Covered:

1️⃣ Income Workflow – Record Income, TDS Receivable, and Receipt from one unified interface..
2️⃣ Expense Workflow – Record Expense, TDS Payable, and Payment from one unified interface.

3️⃣ RCM Expense Workflow – Record Expense, GST Stat Adjustment (Increase in Tax Liability & Increase in Input Tax Credit), TDS Payable, and Payment from one unified interface.

📊 Reports You Can Prepare With Transaction Cards AddOn:
(1) TDS Receivable – Quarterly
(2) TDS Payable – Quarterly
(3) TDS Paid

(4) GST RCM Report

Impact
